I couldn't stand the idea of sending my girls to day care for most of their day hours and never see each other. They would be strangers on weekends and evenings. I have seen this build a deep respect for each other and for my 3 year old she has learned how to be more patient with the little ones and be a great helper for me and our caregiver.
